Design Business Conference
How to build ethical and profitable business around design.
Design Business is a series dedicated to the key directions of contemporary design and architecture — from ethical and sustainable development, through innovative technologies, to the social role of design.
The idea behind is led by Wise Habit and ArchiSnob, an organization supporting designers and architects in creating conscious, responsible solutions where business is a core of every decision.
The creators of the initiative believe that meaningful dialogue shapes the future of the industry, which is why they invite representatives of architecture, design, science, business, and NGOs to join the conversation.
- How to build ethical and profitable business around design?
- How to earn and stay fair. Building longterm potential based on values and consumer involvement?
- How to design ethically, consciously and with the future in mind?
- How do we connect: business with branding, design with efficient implementation, technology with craftsmanship, innovation with care for the planet?
These are the questions explored by participants — a new series of conferences for architects, designers, artists, and innovators, organised by Wise Habit and ArchiSnob in collaboration (Partners).
We meet in Warsaw, Poland.
About the organizers
Wise Habit
Wise Habit is a strategic design agency committed to shaping a better future. We create conferences and exhibitions that inspire on an intellectual rather than purely aesthetic level. Focusing on ethically relevant topics, we use design and architecture as tools to provoke thought, encourage dialogue, and contribute to meaningful change.
ArchiSnob
ArchiSnob is a platform dedicated to shaping the dialogue around architecture and design through critical thinking, cultural insight, and real industry impact. Founded and led by Marcin Szczelina, it brings together expertise in architecture, design, and sustainability to inspire meaningful conversations at conferences and industry events worldwide.
Why?
The Design & Business conference exists to connect design with real-world impact. Not as theory, but as practice. It responds to a simple need: design today must work — economically, socially, environmentally, and ethically. Ideas are not enough. They need systems, strategy, and execution.
The conference explores how creativity becomes value: how brands are built, how products reach the market, and how decisions in design shape broader business outcomes.
It combines strategic and theoretical perspectives with practical insights into technologies, materials, and production processes. It is a space for rethinking responsibility in design — and for aligning innovation with long-term consequences and ethical design practice.
To whom?
The conference is designed to build a strong and engaged community by facilitating knowledge exchange and fostering collaboration across diverse audience groups. Its purpose is to connect professionals from different sectors, creating a shared space for learning, meaningful relationships, and long-term cooperation.
- Architects, Contract Companies and Developers.
- Product Designers
- Manufacturers
- Buyers
Goal: Gathering the Target Group and building long-term business relationships.
Accompanying events
Ethical Design Exhibition
Wise Habit Exhibition: The Power of Three is an exhibition that approaches design and architecture as a tool for reflection on the contemporary world. Its structure is inspired by the number three — an archetypal symbol of balance, cyclicality, and harmony, present in both culture and nature.
The exhibition unfolds across three thematic axes: Sustainability, Ethical Design, and Crisis, forming a framework for dialogue about the future of the built environment. Each theme reveals a different tension within design — between social needs and economic forces, between nature and technology, between comfort and responsibility.
The installation is conceived as a multisensory experience. Three spatial elements correspond to three modes of perception: image, sound, and material. Visitors can see architectural projects, hear the voices of designers and researchers, and touch materials that may shape the future of architecture — from biomimetic structures to self-healing materials.
In this way, the exhibition becomes not only a presentation of projects, but also a narrative of transformation — a shift from traditional approaches to construction toward more responsible, circular, and socially conscious models of design.
ArchiSnob Gala
TheArchi Snob is an independent magazine dedicated to architecture, design, and the culture of space. Published in both Polish and English, it brings together leading voices from across the industry, offering thoughtful perspectives on how architecture shapes cities, society, and the way we live.
Each new issue is celebrated with a special evening event — a natural continuation of the conversations started during the day. Following the Design & Business conference, guests are invited to stay for the official premiere and evening gala.
More than just a launch, the event is designed as a cultural experience. It brings together architects, curators, investors, and opinion leaders, and is attended by over 400 guests from leading Polish design studios. Each edition is accompanied by a concert by a renowned Polish artist or a specially created performance, creating a unique atmosphere where architecture meets music and live expression.
The evening also offers space for informal conversations, new connections, and exchange across disciplines — extending the conference into a more relaxed and immersive setting. It is a moment to experience the ideas behind the magazine in a more sensory way, and to become part of a wider creative community gathered around each issue.
Agenda
The Design & Business conference is divided into three thematic blocks: Business & Marketing, Product, and Manufacturing.
Each block focuses on specific topics, from branding and market strategy, through product development and service design, to production systems, innovation, and global manufacturing challenges.
The program includes a mix of presentations and panel discussions, ending with a closing speech dedicated to ethical design and responsible production.

Venue
The events of the day will take place at the National Library of Poland in Warsaw — one of the country's most important cultural institutions, founded in 1928. The main building, designed in the 1960s by architect Stanisław Fijałkowski, is a landmark of Polish modernism.
Recently modernized by KONIOR Studio, the library has been carefully transformed to meet contemporary needs while preserving its original architectural character. The renovation introduced new reading rooms and public spaces defined by natural materials, improved functionality, and a more open, intuitive layout, creating a refined and inspiring environment for today's cultural and business events.
As the largest library in Poland, it houses millions of books, manuscripts, and archival materials, including rare and historic collections that reflect the country's literary and cultural heritage, adding a distinct intellectual atmosphere to the venue.
